stuartgr: I am also looking at getting into this game - looking at the Draytek Vigor 2750VN - has anyone checked this out?
stuartgr: It may be overkill for my needs so may go down to the N version (without VOIP). I think it is around 450 from Paradigm - is this around the price people have been paying for VDSL modems?

The 3G fail-over sounds like it could be useful for the SOHO space or small business segment.
If you can talk them into selling one to you, http://www.snappernet.co.nz would be where to start looking.
