This type of sensationalist reporting, complete with camera angles that increase the perceived size of the 'pillar'/'edifice' annoys the hell out of me.  It's not much higher than the retaining wall that is directly behind it and it is probably going to be hidden by the flax bush once it grows??  As far as NIMBY goes, are we plumbing new depths?

The street is not that far from me, but we still have a few months to wait until they start laying the ducting.  I can't understand their concern, in their position I'd just be happy to be getting UFB access - it's not like it's a great bloody cabinet either.
