Does anyone know how the teleco's make their ADSL servers. As a home project I want to figure out how to make one (using one of my spare routers) and I'm just wondering HOW!?!

So you need a radius server and some edge routers plus a DSLAM to send the ADSL connection along the line, probably some fibre and then the know how to make it happen.
Start off with a DHCP server in a windows environment running a home network.
