I saw some guys from Chorus installing this box (the one in the middle) and the thing it's connected to on the right, a while back.

There's a cash machine directly below if that helps identify its purpose.

It's a BUDI box (i think that's what they call it). Just simply a distribution point for multi-tenant buildings. No splitter or anything special, just a patch panel really.

It will have a 12-Fibre (or something around that size) come in to it and then the smaller duplex's from each tenant is run to it. That building looks like the Roslyn shops so obviously atleast one of tenants has requested fibre so they stick that box in straight away to make it easy for future tenants to get fibre.
