The time has finally come and we have workman digging up our street. I wonder if anyone could shed some light on a couple of symbols they've sprayed on the berm next to our driveway:

1. A large orange E
2. A purple line with 2 dots on either side of it (looks like a big divided by symbol)

I have no issue with them digging up the street\berm but the orange E is very very close to the edge of the entrance to our already fairly narrow driveway and I worry if it's something that will be above the ground someone may easily reverse into or drive over it coming out of our driveway.

InstallerUFB: the general scheme of colour markings is ; Yellow - Gas, Orange/Red - Power, Blue - Water , Violet - Telecommunications (Any network). and White for construction information / the dot in the middle indicates the general location of the service with the lines either side indicating the corridor in which you must hand dig to loacte this service if you are going to dig over or around it.
