A friend of mine has just moved into a flat with no telephone line connection in Newtown, Wellington.

We are trying to work out whether there is any not so bad wireless broadband suppliers (like woosh), as an option other than paying for a landline installation.
A quick search did not return many helpful results thou.

Do anyone here, is still using wireless broadband in Newtown or Wellington area, who is your supplier, and how is your experience like please?

That location can get cable (at least) and will have copper available, I have a fair idea of where that is. But (as DJShadow suggests) what does Chorus's map say?
