Hi all
we have just got a wee apartment built on our house with my mother moving into it soon.
Mum want her own connection to the place I keep telling that I don't know if she can as we have ufb but she want it her way funny old lady
.so can this be done the pot is free but can have one with the other

You help will be grateful

Assuming the copper is intact and wasn't removed with the fibre install there is no reason why not.

If work is required you will have to pay for the copper install which will be $399

Aredwood: Just run an ethernet cable from one of the other ONT ports to your mother's place. Then get another ISP to provision a connection on it. Even the slowest speed UFB connection will still be faster and more reliable than ADSL.


That would only work if its not a Chorus area - even though Chorus ONTs can run multi RSPs they currently dont
