So 2degrees sent me out a fritzbox 7490, which required the use if multiple cables and a adapter to it connect to my phoneline and was quite messy. Where as my HG659b connected with one cable. Also my upload was always slow. So I decided to replace my jack point with a cat5e jackpoint so I could use a normal patch cable to connect to the fritzbox.

Anyways while connecting phoneline to the cat5e socket I picked that 568b layout and 568b patch cable to the fritzbox is this the correct way? Or does this affect my speeds?

The line is working fine except my upload seems a liitle slow at 26509 kbit/s. There are no other lines connected in the house, there is no master filter installed just naked vdsl to this one jackpoint the old 1950s phoneline cable has been replaced with a cat5e cable.

I get the following line stats after my messing about.

Is there anyway I can get the 120000 kbit/s the fritzbox says or improve upload speed ?

Oh I thought the upload could match the download like fibre can. So the linecard thing do I ask the chorus guy for a better one to be installed? Fibre is still a way off from here

VDSL2 is asymmetrical so no upload and download aren't the same.

No you can't ask Chorus to install another card. You have a connection that's absolutely perfect and delivering at the limit of what the technology can offer. There are a mix of Ikanos and Broadcom cards and the other can offer up too 100/50 but no they're not going to change a card for you, and it's unlikely that'd you'd see faster speeds than you're seeing right now.\

If your requirements are beyond what VDSL2 can offer I suggest you look for alternatives such as licenced or non licenced wireless connections or HSNS fibre. Just be prepared to pay significantly more for such an offering. Every other VDSL2 user in NZ would absolutely love to have a connection as perfect as yours!
