Hi there

Is there anyone with Nova who has got the 50 inch 4k tv?

Is it any good? i am contemplating on making the change but not sure about Nova.

Reading all forums getting mixed reviews about their services.

These deals are typically false economy, especially if you accept higher prices simply to get a 'free' TV, or get locked in for a long time, or if you have to bundle a bunch of other services to get the best price.

I assume you've done comparisons using PowerSwitch or other such sites? You really need to compare what they're offering you to what you'd pay with other providers (including your current one) to know if it's a good deal - rates are so hard to compare between customers due to different rates for the specific region, meter set-up etc. (for example, my rates with EK are cheaper than what you've been offered, and that's before taking into account the one hour of free power where I fit 20-30% of my daily usage into; but that's not comparable with what you may be charged in your location/house.)

I take a similar approach to michaelmurfy, in that I avoid bundled options - this way it removes the strong disincentive to shift one or more of your services if the quality is crud or you find a better deal elsewhere. I'm not so opposed to locking myself into a short (one-year) contract if the deal is sweet, but I'm not a fan of 'gifts', but rather a discount or account credit to directly reduce the actual cost of the service.

That said, I'm with Nova - but only for (reticulated) gas; for that, I've always found them excellent to deal with, well-priced, and willing to offer competitive rates. But I've not found any compelling reason to shift my power or internet to them (in fact, based on feedback on this forum, I've actively avoided their BB offerings).
