Hi i was wondering if anyone can tell me whether you can retrieve deleted files from standard USB flash drives and/or SD/XD cards, and if so can you tell me how please.

Hi Janie

There are MANY programs claiming to do that.

I have had excellent results in the past with the free version of Recuva.

Download the portable version from here:
http://www.piriform.com/recuva/builds

Obviously do not run the program from the drive you are attempting to recover files from.
