These cards seem to be cheaper than in NZ.
Would there be any issue with buying one in america? power supply wise etc?

No issue at all, except if you look at things like TV tuners which might be locked to a different frequency band (like Japan).

You can never have enough Volvos!

Not sure how prices compare against buying on-shore, but two things I would be wary of when buying from that site:
1. Not being resident in the US, are you eligible for the rebate that they show on a lot of their products
2. I went to place a dummy order using their guest account and it wants my c/card details before telling me what the shipping costs to NZ would be. Make sure you find out your total cost before finalising your order.

Thanks, I'm in America 3 times a year. Heading up in a week again so will by it myself.
Not sure about the rebate but there are numerous stores in America I'll shop around.

Just worried about power supply or any other issues with buying one up there?

It says on there about the rebate now I've looked again, they are $20 - $30 at a quick look. We wouldn't get one so I would need to add that to the price.

The only possible issue is if the item you buy plug into the mains, not if it goes inside a PC.

Exactly, there is no problem at all buying it over there, good way to get a better price, go for it.

heck yeah the exchange rate is so good at the mo.... do it!!

I suggest you pick up the Sapphire 6950 Toxic 2GB, which comes pre-loaded with two roms.... and with a flick of a switch it becomes a 6970!

I'd buy one... but i cannot justify the $$ to make BF3 look prettier!
