There's an EVGA 3080 finishing in 90 minutes on trade me. He's had a ton of trolling. Sitting at 2K.

I wonder why one would sell so soon after buying. Maybe the trolling is justified.

Buyers remorse would not really be believable.

I'm surprised that's the only one on TradeMe. If even the scalpers haven't got decent stock then there must not be many out there!

That seems like a lot of grief to make $500.

Also, who's that desperate they can't wait a few weeks? I will never understand that mentality.

Those who still remember the bitcoin mining craze. Shortages may last until the new year if Big Navi disappoints.

My RTX3080 arrived today. Pretty happy with it. Have only had a chance to load a couple of titles.

Selling my old GTX1070 :P

BTW the 3080 is HUGE...

The RTX3090 FE is huge. Triple slot and just massive!

That's the one thing that is concerning me.

I need 2 GPU's in my system(using GPU Passthrough to give my Windows VM actual graphics ATM 1070 on Linux, 980 in Windows)  with the cards being 2.5 or larger is half a slot really enough space for it to get enough air flow.

If the worst comes to the worst, you can always run it outside the PC case.  Just put in a PCIe x16 extender and feed it out the back of the slot.

Well congratulations to you!

I'm trying to figure out what kind of system to buy right now and might be interested in your GTX1070... following a suggestion from @Handle9 to buy a 3080-ready system and run with an older card for now.

What do you currently run in terms of specs?

I was wondering the same but I feel like my CPU isn't gonna be that much of a bottleneck for at least the next 2 years ?

Not sure about that PSU when adding a 3080... seeing as you're overclocking already :/

Yea I know.

Although it would be good to see how much headroom I have currently.

Easy and relatively cheap upgrade though. Just have to look out for sales and snag a 800-1000W one.

Hmm. Still waiting to hear from Computer Lounge on a timeline for my card... it was "in stock" when I bought it, but later got an email saying thanks for the backorder.

Same here. In stock at 0115 on launch day, but email stating backorder with no timeline. Being really opaque with expectation when contacting support.

"We will be receiving weekly consignments and allocate accordingly" doesn't really give much information.
