I have a folder hierarchy of photos and videos. Some of the subfolders have family videos. For archiving, I want to batch convert the videos to 720p.

The videos are a variety of formats, all of which Handbrake can decode. 25GB / 333 videos, so doing them by hand would be time consuming. Problem is Handbrake batch only does one folder at a time, not a hierarchy, and it doesn't preserve the hierarchy.

I tried HB Batch Encoder, which calls Handbrake CLI, but it didn't do anything. I found a few scripts online, mostly Powershell which I don't know anything about so I'd prefer a GUI if anyone knows one. If not I'll try a script.

Any suggestions?

I'll look into that thanks @davidcole

I also found VidCoder, which seems like it might do the job. It's a Handbrake GUI.
