I bought a Intel NUC BOXNUC6CAYH Mini Computer Intel Celeron J3455 Quad core last November to be used as a stream box to my smart TV, but it seems a bit slow to operate with Windows 10.
I called into PBtech where it was bought to ask if upping the ram from 8 to 16gb would help, and he asked what hdd I was using which is a 1TB 2.5" sata, and his advice was to fit a ssd.
So looking for advice please

Swap the 1TB HDD out for a SSD and put the 1TB HDD in an 2.5" external enclosure and plug it in via USB 3.0

An SSD will turn usage from molasses to pretty good, however if it's simply struggling with movies, youtube, etc. double check to see if your CPU is getting hammered or if something else is going on.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
