I need to see what tabs were open in the last session of a Chrome browser on a drive that has been backed up as a Macrium Reflect image. I had Chrome set to resume where left off so all tabs would automatically restore when I started it.

Now I am trying to figure out how to view those last open tabs without having to restore the image file. Macrium lets you view files from the image, but I may have to run Chrome in order to see the tabs. I wonder if anyone has a solution?

Also, if I do have to run the backed up Chrome, I was thinking of restoring the Macrium image to a virtual drive. Is that possible? How hard is it? I have never tried virtual drives on Windows before.

Copy the Chrome profile and open it from another computer. For example https://superuser.com/questions/662329/how-do-i-recover-tab-session-information-from-chrome-chromium
