I can hardly believe it, but it seems unpossible to transmit files (ringtones, photos) from mobile phone to my iPAQ rw6815 as it has not the "good old" Bluetooth Manager but just Windows BT soft. I pair the devices but there simply seems to be no BT service for file transfers and when I try to transmit a file, it is not working. Any idea how to go round this?

Make sure the "Beam" option is checked (Start | Settings | Connections). This is the option that turn on/off the service to receive files on your Windows Mobile device.

Also be sure to turn it off after using it, because the infrared will also be activated and use up a lot of battery...

Thanx, to be honest, I supposed that the Beam function is related to IR only...
