I have a laptop computer that I carry from home to work and elsewhere. When I am at work, I use one login (workjim) and log into our office domain (officedomain). When I am out of the office, I use a different login (homejim) and log into the laptop itself (jimslaptop). Windows has two different users setup for me, with different desktops, my documents, etc. I have outlook for each user setup to use the same PST file, and that works fine. How do I setup ActiveSync to sync my pda with my one PST whether I am logged in as workjim or homejim? Workjim syncs fine, but when I try homejim, ActiveSync wants to create a new partnership, and I am unsure if that is what I should do.

Sincerely,
Jim Iverson

The problem is that Partnership information is stored per user under

\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Profiles
Of course since you have two users, each will have a different folder. Also, Partnership information is stored on the device itself.
