What Pocket PC model is this? All i-mate models comes with a JVM - it's the intent MIDlet Manager icon in Start | Programs. It supports MIDP 2.0.

You just need to copy the Java files to your Pocket PC, tap Menu | Install | Local and you are good to go.

If the Pocket PC does not have this program then you can find a few around the Internet - some are free.

Thanks Mauricio

Its the HTC Apache with Telecom NZ.

Given its not an i-mate model, it doesn't come with a JVM (the intent MIDlet Manager icon in Start | Programs)

What key words would I use to seach the net to find such an applet?

Thanks

There are a couple of free ones, including Mysaifu JVM. Then there are some paid ones, such as the IBM WebSphere for Pocket PC.

Look on Google for JVM Pocket PC.

As for all stuff Windows Mobile 5.0, working for Windows Mobile 2003 is not a guarantee it will work on Windows Mobile 5.0, but there's a good chance.
