I set the new phone up, charged it up, then left it sitting on my desk overnight. This morning it required a soft reset to bring it back... yikes! It hasn't happened again since, but I'll see what happens tonight and decide what to do tomorrow.

Had it occur once during the setup process but hasn't occurred since so fingers crossed that everything is ok.

It seems to have survived the night, so yeah, hopefully it's not a bung one again. I'm counting on the announced early December patch to deal with minor reset issues, but the previous phone was just so bad it was unusable.

I had it again as well - I've been reading through replies on other forums with people taking the phone back but the same thing occurring and there are also HTC people who have experienced the same problem which leads me to conclude that maybe it is Windows Phone 8 rather than the hardware. With that being said, I've since uninstalled Facebook, Angry Birds and the weather application thus so far I haven't experienced any freeze ups.

I was told yesterday some accessories, including a wireless charger, would be available from next week on Telecom's web site.

Regarding accessories.

We'll only have limited quantities of the DT-900 charging plate available initially through Telecom's website.

nakedmolerat: My camera is now fixed (after sending it back to Nokia)

Anyone can help me with the vibrate issue. Everytime my phone rings, I only have two short bursts of vibrate then stopped. Afaik last time the vibrate will go on as long as the ringtone goes...

If I set to vibrate only, it will continue to vibrate until I answer the call.

Anyone has similar behaviour?

edit: I have also hard reset this phone twice.

anyone?

Anyone?

Try flash the Telecom firmware on it, otherwise it's probably another return job

Found this...

http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Nokia-Lumia/Lumia-920-possible-to-do-Ring-AND-Vibrate-at-the-same-time/td-p/1613266

So apparently by design Lumia only vibrate for two short burst and followed by ringtone. By default it won't have ringtone and vibrate at the same time? To others, are you aware of this?

Please don't flash any other ROM on your New Zealand-sourced device, or you'll kiss your warranty bye-bye.

Can a couple of you do me a big fav.

Can you upload a few pics of the different colours of the home screen live tiles.

I have a htc 8s work phone here and the colours look crap (the lumia 800 looks loads better).

I want to see if its WP8 or just the crap htc screen.

This is the deal breaker on what phone i buy, if the lumia is the same as the htc then i will just get the htc.

do you mean a screenshot? or take a photo from different camera and upload it?

htc 8s is lower spec than lumia 920. you should compare 8x to lumia 920.

Sorry was meaning screen shots.

At the moment the S8 seems to make all the colours a little "ewww" like yellow is more of a dark yellow/gold when i would rather have it as a bright yellow.

the green is like a slime green and not a nice green like on the lumia 800.

I just wanted to know if it was the screen and htc thing or wp8

I don't know that you'll get a very accurate colour representation, as it all depends on the monitor really. On my screen, my pics look a couple shades lighter than the real thing.
