I bought the Nokia official holder for my 900 but couldn't get on with it. I had real problems locking the bit that holds the phone into the bit that sticks on the window. Was very easy to twist the phone and separate the 2 parts but very difficult to lock them back together.

Sounds like a different holder from one one I mentioned.

I had a play with nexus 4..

Surprisingly, I like the Nokia Lumia more in term of build and screen quality.

got mine in the 13 Dec tranche. No probs so far, but have to say holding it one handed all evening is a good workout for hands and forearms. Strange cos its about the same weight as my old phone but the size seems to exert more angular force, particularly holding one end landscape. From here it looks like one of two things will happen: either my muscles will adapt or I'll write a petulant review trashing the phone based on a single criterion.

A time-poor geek is hardly a geek at all

Telecom gave one to me!

I was in the 'process' of changing phone, always LOVE nokia but NEVER use windows phone. I am a big fan of android since using HTC magic. Mind you, I probably has spent close to $200 on android apps and has very good reason to go back to android.

I went to 2degrees store today, had a play with nexus 4. I was sure to buy one outright today. I just feel the phone is too 'light' and while the screen is great, it is definitely not better than the Lumia. Lumia also has better speaker when compared.

So, Ill pass nexus4 for now.

So i got my Skinnomi body shield yesterday! works a charm, its similar to the Zagg Invisible Shield but these have got better reviews.

It looks glossy now which i don't mind and has a lot more grip.Now i can rest easy when my phone slides around my desk :)

I have owned my 920 for about 24hours, Im enjoying the OS and liking the change from iOS (4S)

A few things really annoying me - The battery, i have charged this 5times since owning it and i have gone through all the battery saving tips and have reset the phone and re-installed everything! Yet it drains so fast! (Too fast) and the charging seems to take longer than they battery lasts

The heating of the device - it gets hot, Real hot! Not hot enough to burn my hands but definitely far to hot for a phone, I guess the plus side of that is it will be too hot for my kids to touch!

So as of now im undecided if i return it and go back to iOS or not :-/

Bright side - im not plagued with random reboots other users are experincing

You are probably seeing this happening because you're using the device more than you usually would - finding new things, installing apps, doing syncs, etc...

My Lumia 920 can last more than 24 hours these days with a single charge. If I go out and use it (checking emails, Twitter, Foursquare, etc) it can still last the whole working day.

Thats what im hoping! i love the device... it but if this continunes... My 4S would get 24hours.

It does get hot sometimes but only if I have been using it for some time - more than 15 minutes with screen on for example.

My phone's battery life was a little erratic at first but now i am getting very stable and good battery life, 24+hr's out of a charge is the normal, compared to my S3 with similar use i was only getting 16hrs on average. Mine took maybe a week to settle which i put down to things like Gmail syncing in the background and the phone backing itself up etc
