I get around 40+ hours from a charge on my 920. Thats with facebook, 2 emails being pushed through a weather app and lock screen changer running.

I'm running nearly the identical as you. Checked my stats and my last charge was 2 days ago and I still have 23% battery left.

I have a TomTom Via 180 which used to make a great handsfree phone kit. However, of late, it has now stopped pickinng up my address list / names from the phone (connects via Bluetooth).

This is a PITA, as now, incoming calls just show a number (so I don't know who it is most of the time), and it makes it hard to dial a contact - the contact list on the TomTom doesn't exist anymore).

I'm *wondering* if this has anything to do with "grouping" contacts together on my phone?

I don't *really* want to ungroup all the folk - there's few to do!

So wondering if anyone here can confirm that.

I am getting around 2~3%/hr drop during the day, heavy use sees a drop of around 6~7%/hr. Overnight is around 1~1.5%/hr

This is with two email accounts running, wifi, gps, updates on, screen brightness on auto etc, it is what i would deem a very normal usage

On wireless charging was at about 18% charge and took two hours to reach full charge

This is as good as well actually better than i could get on my S3 under similar usage

I sent my nokia yesterday for repair, I wont be seeing it back for a long time. The gps didn't lock position at all in front of the telecom sales rep..

This will be the 3rd lumia i receive, 1st had faulty headphone jack, 2 gps fault. However, the sales rep said that the repairers may just update the maps software and send it back which i hope isn't the case as i tried all this plus did 2 full factory resets.

If they replace it, whats the chance they already have refurbs?

Im really regretting nokia right now, should have gone with an s3.

Mine one had issue with camera - replaced with a refurbished one. The 2nd one has some vibrate issue and just waiting to hear something from Telecom. Saying that, others - Wade / Mauricio don't have any issue with their Lumia at all.

I think this is a case of bad luck! I hope you get your problem sorted completely. I can understand the frustration.

Yes my one seems to behave impeccably, to be honest I like the lumia so much I sold my S3 last week as I have no intention of going back

returned, now awaiting my 3rd Lumia 920 lol if this one has issues I'll be running back to iOS! Got my money back from dse and ordered one from the telecom website! Maybe red will bring better luck lol

How were you able to say it was a refurb? was it not in 100% new condition?

I am one of the Telecom reviewer. The original phone was sent in a sealed box but the replacement was in an opened box. Maybe this only apply to me...

I've moved back to Android now, picked up a Nexus 4 - feels good to be back on Android. Whilst the phone and OS are great and all I don't really want to be constrained by Microsoft who are forever going to be playing catchup to the likes of Android and iOS.

There's some really stupidly annoying things like absurd region locks such as bing search having much more functionality when region is set to US, auto display results when typing in a URL in IE is only available to UK/US, adjusting upload quality of photos to skydrive is only available to US etc etc.

I'm not quite sure why Microsoft feel the need to lock the OS/limit API functionality so much. It was fine for Apple because they were the only with a smartphone at the time but if you want to attract people to your phone then perhaps making things a little more open e.g. using NFC to enable/disable services such as bluetooth/wifi etc

The above plus having to wait till Feb 2013 for a simple update pushed me over the edge.

I use too many google services and really missed the likes of Chrome and gtalk
