Windows Phone 8 10211 aka ‘Portico’ features a fix for stability (random resets and freezes) and adds some new things too including SMS call reject, mass select, SMS drafts, persistent Wi-Fi connection (when display is off), Wi-Fi hotspot finder and even a feature to turn of image-downloads in Internet Explorer

Do whatever you want to do man.

Could anyone on Telecom please try paying for public parking via SMS after the update?

I tried three different machines this morning. All attempts came back with a SMS reply saying "Please use correct code".

SMS to phones seems to be working. Not sure it is a glitch with Telecom, DPS or if the phone is still sending SMS with wrong encoding.

Well that was easy, nice touch how it gives you the option to postpone or continue with install after the download stage, FYI - it is a 35~45 minute process from go to whoa

Looking forward to the camera improvements, had a quick play and it looks like a solid improvement

the time to install depends on how full your phone is of data, how many photos/music etc

If you were full up with 32GB of stuff on the phone, it will take longer than that :)

Update 8.0.10211.204

Messaging improvements. A great messaging experience is now even better. You can now add multiple recipients at the same time when you send a text message and automatically save unsent text messages as drafts. You can even edit received text messages before you forward them.

Text replies to incoming calls. Can't take a call? Now you can send a prewritten text reply to a caller directly from the call answer screen. It's a nice way to let people know that you're not ignoring them.

Internet Explorer improvements. You can now change your settings to prevent pictures from downloading automatically – an easy way to help keep data usage low. You can also delete selected sites from your browsing history and leave the rest intact.

WiFi connectivity. Have a favourite WiFi network? Windows Phone 8 will now prioritise WiFi connections based on your connection history.
