Yes - that is correct. So it is not the customisations then... I am sure I have seen someone with this problem before - I will have another look. Might even be in this thread LOL

I will flash again for the time being, see if it fixes anything, SMS and Calls work fine, have not tried GPS.

Everytime I delete Sprint PCS settings they come right back and try to connect via it.

not sure what rom you mean, but if you mean the almost oem rom. which has no customization. what i did was delete the  IOTA folder from program files.  problem solved.

macuser: I just flashed from original rom to the "official" sprint rom, now everytime I try to connect to EVDO IOTA runs, reverting me back to sprint settings, how do I solve this?

Use file explorer and go to "\program files" and delete the IOTA folder. Problem solved.

Alternatively you can flash a rom that isn't sprint specific.

PM me and I'll send you a link to a custom ROM that looks and feels like the orignial Telecom ROM but with GPS, EVDO Rev A, Windows Mobile 6.1 etc

Alternatively go build your own using PPC Kitchen. It's dead easy and you end up with exactly what you want.

I had a similar issue last night.. with cooked 6.1 rom .. tried to dial an 027 number but it just kept dialing the last number I called instead.. had to save the number to contacts and then call contact for it to work

Unless I'm mistaken, the HDR password is generated from the A-Key and the ESN, and it's not easy to find the A-Key.

Try and dial the number as +6421 rather than 021.  That worked for me when I was having a similar issue.

That's not quite true, you could pay $55 and have it sent back to Telegistics, they'll gladly reflash the device to WM6.0 for you.
