Anyone used www.play-asia.com?  How did you find it?  Any idea on shipping charges?  Thinking of picking up a game that only comes out in NZ in October - don't think I can wait till then!

Yep, it was good.. took about a week to two to arrive, games aren't in NZ region, so DLC won't work. Overall very cool, got cheaper games :)

How much was shipping out of interest?  Also, does it matter even if it's for PS3?  And if no DLC, does that mean that patches will not be downloaded?

+1. Found them fine to deal with for PS3 games and related books. I recall that they will show you the shipping cost as you order.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Patches will download automatically, as they usually are released world wide simultaneously anyway.

Its the DLC which is binded to a particular GameID, which differ depending on the Region of the disc. You will find only NZ related DLC on the NZ Playstation Store, so if you have an ASIAN or AMERICAN disc, it won't apply the DLC content to it.

I found this out the hard way via Burnout Paradise i purchased through them. All normal patches downloaded perfectly, but ended up wasting $10 on a DLC pack i thought would work. Sony also do not refund DLC purchases, similarly to Apple's AppStore.

just a heads up :)

They have a good reputation.

Shipping from Hong Kong is expensive though, you can see the shipping pricing on their website if you add an item to your cart and go through the check out process.

Don't worry you can stop before the final step of paying, if you just want to check out what the total cost would be.

I've used them for PC games. Avoid any Steam game though because of the region thing.
Customer Service is good.
