For the last 3 monitor sets I have been buying the Samsung 2443 Series 24" Monitors with a 1900x1200 resolution. The last lot of 3 I bought 6 months ago I am not that happy with, I can't seem to get a good colour/contrast setting for and I can't find recommended settings. I am thinking of replacing them, and getting 3 more. I am toying with the idea of 27" but I am quite set on 1900x1200, with adjustable bases thin bezel and exceptional picture. I do a fair amount of gaming and want to be sure of no ghosting or any other issues. I also do a massive amount of office/web type work and watching of TV/Movies so they need to be excellent all around.

Dell Ultrasharp are off the cards, right off the bat for reasons I'd rather not get into.

Happy to spend $500-700 per monitor for something exceptional, and shortly I guess I'll have 3 of these monitors still under warranty for sale.
