Hello Everyone.

Just recently my partner and I branched out into the big wide web, and we have made our very own Gaming Website.  The idea of the site is for gamers to be able to go and add information, inspiration, tips, hints and general day to day adventures they have while gaming, and we intend on having wonderful community of like-minded gamers that are there for the fun and passion of gaming, with a willingness to share their experiences and ideas.

Our website is www.gamereaper.net and while its conception is from New Zealand, due to wonderful people we have met and befriended our site is hosted by Cybernetic Hosting Technologies (http://www.cybernetics.net.au/) in Australia. Thanks to them we have created our site and due to their hands-on approach are constantly learning on how to go it alone with all the software that we are using.

We have also been very lucky to have an irc server avaliable to us irc.relic.net channel #GameReaper.  The guys from Relic Net have been wonderful and have opened their arms to our Gaming Community, they have been instrumental in helping us grow.
Finally we also were blown away by the generosity of another of our friends that has a teamspeak server that offered to let us have our own chat rooms.   Our server address TS.VGN.CO.NZ again to our own GameReaper channel.

Please feel free to check it out, give some feed back, even join if you wish!  We also have the option on our site to join our live chat so that you can see how the irc is and meet the members we currently have.
Kindest Regards

I like the idea of the Events Calendar, but recommend you fix up your links "http://gamereaper.net/index.php/event-calendar/event-view-day/day.listevents/2012/09/12/-" is way to much "junk" to be displayed, pretty much hide the "index.php" in the URL and it will clean itself up better.

The site also seems to be designed for a widescreen monitor in mind and doesn't scale to a lower resolution, I am currently on a 17" LCD panel (1024x768) and have to scroll to the right to read the rest of the page. Other then that I wish you well, lots of good content and you will have yourself a good community.

Are you going for old school gamers (Playstation 1/2, Xbox etc) or newer (PS3, Xbox 360)? If newer, then the old school icons put me off a little. Not to mention the fact you have a fairly recent windows logo for PC. Doesn't really match up.

Hello guys

Thanks for your feedback so far.

Yes we know there are issues with the sizing of the site for certain people, and seems to be people using internet explorer more so we are working on a fix.

We have all gaming in there including info for Android and Iphone users.  We used the older icons as they seemed to be more universally known, but we can change it up.

Please keep feedback coming, as we are continually growing and like to see what people like and dislike so we can create a better site for all :)

Also today we have one of our members Zoen streaming his participation on Path Of Exile (a New Zealand made game) they are doing a two hour hardcore race starting at 8am.

We always put it up on the site so others can see what a wonderful job Path Of Exile are doing with their game that is still in beta atm, and ofc we love to see how far Zoen gets in the Hardcore race!
