Evereything seems to be correct but activesync via bluetooth gets too slow and doesn't transfer anything...

Any help?

Another thing is that when the bluetooth connection for activesync is established, the activesync doesn't load on the desktop...

It doesn't do anything at all after connection? Is this a Bluetooth USB dongle? Is it connected directly to your computer or to a USB HUB? These things don't like USB HUBs...

Also, is this Windows XP Service Pack 2? Check that the built-in firewall is not blocking ActiveSync and the Bluetooth stack. If not SP2, check if any firewall software is blocking either ActiveSync or the Bluetooth stack.

i do experience the same problem. i am able to connect but very slowly.. but i am able to sync though and i am able to transfer too...

Yes, it's a bluetooth dongle. I've already managed to access the internet (very fast by the way), but the active sync connection doesn't work. When I connect the dongle and turn bluetooth on and try to connect through the bluetooth manager on the PDA, the activesync doesn't load, It says the device is not recognized...

But on the PDA side, the connection is established and every thing seems to be fine (I've done averything on the guide correctly), the option to load the activesync when a device is connected is marked...

Any ideas?

Yes, I have performed a soft reset, a hard reset... nothing works... But I'm not too worried about that. It's ok if I can't activesync via bluetooth. I'm now worried about the backup battery that doesn't work... I've already tried everything... I think I'll have to replace the unit anyway...
