In an attempt to get my AXIM and XP PC to sync via bluetooth I have installed and uninstalled the software numerous times, the end result not seem that I cannot get the the connection wizard to recognise any ports between 4 and 9 even though it did in earlier attempts to connect - also the bluetooth connection wizard starts at port 10 giving me no option to change it - has anyone else had thes problems, if so how did you solve them - is it possible that I have deleted the com ports / can they be re-installed or reset.

Have already tried this and sorry to say I am unable to get it to work - my system will not accept the command from the prompt - also I would appreciate if you could replace the flag emblem with the Irish Tricolour (green whit and gold) the flag shown is the Union Jack which is the flag of the United Kingdom of which Ireland is not a member.

Hmm. Are you running as an Administrator on your computer?

About the flag... I understand your concern. The flags are selected from a database of locations based on your IP address when posting. Some companies offer service in one country, but route all traffic through a proxy or a network that is within an IP range that belongs to another country. Or sometimes the ranges are moved. We update the database every month and this may change in the future.

But let's register here your protest.

Understand about the flag just thought I'd mention it

In relation to the other - yes I am the administrator and logon as such but am still unable to get the C:\ without the documents\settings directory preceeding it - have even attempted changing to D:\ this will give me a clear command prompt for the D drive but of course this is no help.

As can be seen above the question was answered but am not having any sucess with solutions - does this mean that I have everyone stumped with this problem.... surely not?

Yes, I am stumped now - it surely is something specific to this computer - those instructions for removing ghost com ports should be all you need...
