Hi, I was wondering if i could setup a wireless bridge between a Tenda w300d and a Netcomm nb304n at all? and if so how would I go about doing it?

If this is not possible is there a way i can connect the two with a ethernet cable and be able to run wireless on them both at the same time?

I currently have both modems connected with the ethernet cable using the tenda w300d as the main modem, as soon as i turn the wireless on on the secondary modem it disconnects the wireless on the main, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to check the manuals about bridging. Bridging is different from repeating, but both need to be WDS compatible to work.

If you just want to extend your wifi coverage...

1) Set the ip addresses so they are in the same range and subnet, but make the slave router one ip different from the master.

For example, if the primary gateway is 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 then the second slave one will be 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0

2) Disable DHCP server on the slave so only the primary gateway issues ip addresses on the lan

3) Install the ethernet cable between them

4) Set the wifi settings in the primary gateway

5) Set the wifi settings to be exactly the same in the slave
For example. Your SSID / wifi network name is the exact same spelling with the exact same capitalisation - best if you have it in small caps, no spaces or symbols.

Also use the exact same WPA2 settings. Dont use WPA/WPA2 automatic mode - use WPA2 only.

6) Your laptop will connect to whichever network it gets the strongest signal from as you roam about your house.
