Hi i am trying to setup a ip camera on a huawei hg569b router and have a static ip address setup by spark and had no problem when it was setup with a d-link router but after changing to fibre we lost our static ip but have now got it back , from what i believe i have setup the port fowarding correctly and eventually found a open port and when i ping internal and external ip they seem fine .

I can access the router and view ip cam using the (local) internal ip address but cannot access router or ip cam using static ip address which leads me to believe that the static ip has not been set up to router properly.

There is very little support from spark for this router and very little on youtube , if anyone has any ideas or knowledge about these routers or this problem your help or info would be most appreciated.cool

Slightly Off topic but you should be fully aware of the consequences of setting up a port forward to an IP camera. I would never do this under any circumstances as the security risks of this are very significant.
