I have a set of TL-PA411 but they are currently maxing out at about 27Mbps when my internet connection is 40Mbps. Is there anything I can do to improve my speeds e.g. buy better adaptors?

 

 

 

The adaptors I have say 500Mbps on them even though they only have a 100Mbps port.

It's a reasonably new house (2007 I think) so I would assume the wiring is decent. However, I think the adaptors are plugged into different circuits, which apparently affects your speed.
