Due to some technical limitations, it's quite challenging to run a physical cable between our soon-to-be-installed ONT and the modem. A quick research online didn't tell me much (it's uncommon issue, I reckon), apart from running a pair of powerlines adapters.

Is there any smart option out there? Wifi to ethernet adapters?

Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

My vote is

- put router next to ont

- extend network using powerline wifi extension kit from TP-Link

We have done this for hundereds of customers. It generally works quite well.
