Help please! I'm the OP of this thread: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=66&topicid=322739

I'm now a proud owner of a GWN7002 and 2 x GWN7604. The idea was to set up one 7604 on PoE downstairs, and one 7604 wireless with a power adapter upstairs. I can probably connect both over PoE but prefer not to because the PoE cabling terminates upstairs in a bedroom instead of the office, and I don't want to rewire the house.

Problem is - I can't get the APs to sync with the GWN7002. All the manuals tell me that there should be a "Discover AP" button on the AP page in router UI, but there isn't one. I can see all 3 devices in the GWN app, they're all in the same network and group, and I've setup a WLAN that all three devices are members of. But none of that does anything - the only SSID I see broadcast is the default one for one of the 7604's.

Here's what the manual tells me I should be seeing, and here's what I see in the UI. When I click on either "Pair" or "Takeover" I get "No APs available".

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong here?

Update. Factory reset everything and connected both APs to PoE ports. Both APs registered.

One of the two APs seems to have a faulty PoE port. When on PoE it reboots every couple of minutes or so. I tried swapping cables, router ports, comparing it side by side with the other AP. The faulty one is stable with an external adapter but not on PoE. Both are on the same firmware version, both been factory reset.

This also explained why nothing worked before - I wast trying to use the faulty one on PoE as the mesh master. Back to GoWireless it goes for RMA. Thanks for your help everyone.
