I'm looking to buy a Raspberry Pi & case to form the basis of a network audio streamer. It seems that there are multiple places to buy Pis - does anyone have a preferred vendor?
No mention of RS Components? Similar to Element14 in terms of what they sell, but have free shipping (no minimum order cost) and don't require you to be a business. Their Terms and Conditions state:
1.4 RS is a business-to-business supplier. The RS website is intended for use by business customers and not by private individuals acting as consumers (“Consumers”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions of sale shall affect the statutory rights of a Customer who deals as a consumer.
My experience with their free shipping has been that they ship items separately when they become available, directly from whatever warehouse has them. And that was on an order of a few capacitors, so fairly low value.
