I ordered mine on day 1, have you ordered yours? Mine is due mid February.

I had a red Pebble and loved it so there was no hesitation in upgrading to the stronger smaller Steel.

From Pebble:

Unfortunately there are no plans yet to sell additional chargers for Pebble Steel.

Thank you for your patience and support.

Best Regards

Slightly disappointing but certainly not a deal breaker, hopefully this will change soon. There will of course be 3rd party ones but I'm not so keen after the minor issues others had with 3rd party cables for the original Pebble.

I've currently got a Pebble (in Red) and love it, had it for almost a month now. Ordered a Pebble Steel on day one, the day after my Pebble arrived hah.

Looking forward to it!

I ordered brushed based on press shots but then changed to black after seeing hands on "real" photos.

I am also back to Black Matte after watching a few youtube videos. I just sold my original pebble so am now pebbleless. Very sad.

The pebble has been awesome while I have been on call lately as I know I am not going to miss a call.

Hoping that the black will ship shortly. From reading the pebble forums it looks like brushed stainless are shipping but not Black Matte...

Cheers, Matt.

Sorry to hassle you all, but those of you who have ordered, how long does shipping normally take? Also now that you have had a fiddle, how does it measure up and would you recommend it. Currently rocking a note 3 and the gear offering leaves me less than impressed.

Thanks guys :)

Why are you not impressed with Galaxy Gear? What are the advantages with Pebble?

I am thinking of getting Gear given that they are selling at $288 after cashback

I like the pebble for the following reasons:

1. It has a 7 day battery life
2. It is waterproof.

It doesn't try and do too much. Notifications to my wrist. I have now been without my original pebble for a couple of weeks and I really miss those notifications. I find I spend a lot more time pulling my phone out of my pocket to look at unnecessary notifications.

That said the Gear at $288 is a good price for something that is a lot more capable than the pebble.

Cheers, Matt.

Battery life for one thing. And its just not something I can see myself using. The peeble in my opinion looks nicer. Has better functionality, will last more than a day, and isn't brand specific like the gear.
To me Samsung drastically limited the potential buyers just on battery life alone nevermind any of the other aspects. I mean personally I will never take a call on the gear, The biggest handy factor for this is for when I am on call I know I wont miss a call.

Even witht the cash back offer. I would rather have the steel

I am still using the Original Note 1 and am interested in possibly getting a Pebble.
Currently not using a smartwatch at all but can certainly see their functionality.
Can see some Pebbles on Trademe and am wondering the main difference apart from looks between the original and the Steel

Black matte is yet to ship I believe. Production delays?

Difference is build materials, physical size and a colour LED indicator.

Hey,

Currently using the Sony SmartWatch 2 but looking to move to the steel as it looks more like a watch.

Have any of you guys received yours yet? What do you think?
