After the long chase for an Iphone 4 32gig I finally got my hands on one on Sunday the 22nd 3 days old from opening.

Pretty much tried everything on it and thought it was a bit unresponsive 1-2 sec lag sometimes.

This being my first iphone ever I didn't really know what the norm is so had a friend have a go on it and he also said there is an unresponsive problem and when the CAMERA APP is opened to use the camera it took around 20-30 seconds before the take picture button or any button would respond.

After some searching on the internet I noticed a lot of people had camera problems with extreme cases where it crashes the phone or the virtual shutter wouldn't even open.

I'm guessing the Iphone 4 I got has a touch screen problem as pressing the other buttons such as the home button would function instantly

Any how I have tried all the trouble shooting with restore etc. And proceeded to call Apple Support where they noted the case and gave me a case number which I'm meant to take to the Vodafone store I got my faulty iphone 4 from, I've heard It could take two weeks before I can get another iphone or would they do a straight swap?

and How about the micro-sim problem where I wouldn't be able to use my phone number until the iphone is back, should I ask them to give me a normal sim to transfer my account to for the mean time?

any advice would be appreciated!

I have a micro sim adaptor that I bought, but in this case, vodafone should provide you a sim card and a replacement phone if the phone is under warrenty.

From memory iphones get sent back to apple, vodafone dont do the repairs or warrenty

I really hope they give me a replacement right away instead of the wait time,

UPDATE!

On Wednesday I took the phone into the store i bought it from and got it sent away,
was asked for a $73 bond as well and I received a call from them today and went to pick it up and I'm so happy with this new one with no faults i just realize that my faulty phones touch screen was actually insensitive!

So anyone having problems I recommend calling apple support and getting a case number before sending it away seemed to speed things along i'm guessing
