My tracking number has come through from 2Degrees... Courier Post hasn't activated the number just yet but I'm feeling positive for an early morning delivery!
I ordered via Spark Digital business portal at 8:04pm and mine still says backordered. But I'm not sure if the portal is updated in realtime and I can't remember if they usually send text alerts or not.
tardtasticx: No one who ordered from Apple has tracking links by any chance? I’m sure it’s shipped I just wish they’d send tracking :-p
As stated earlier in the thread, Apple doesn't provide the tracking info until the evening before, usually between 8 and 9 PM. If they say you'll get your order tomorrow, you'll definitely get it tomorrow. They work closely with couriers on big launch days.
Sounds like its a very good piece of kit. I am just not convinced on having to hold it up to my face to unlock it, so going to wait a bit longer.
You could probably still use PIN unlock right?
You're paying $2k for this phone ... PIN unlocks sucks at that price.

It wouldn't be so bad if they had an alternative physical way to unlock. Pattern unlock or even picture unlock like on Windows would be a minimum I would think. I can see this being a major issue, especially as face ID may not work all that well outside according to reports.Maybe that will be improved with a software update.
For some reason Spark never sent a text message to my number, but I just checked my email seems like they sent me an email around 2-3pm. All good for tomorrow I guess.
Another note, Apple shipped my iPhone X cases (got tracking and notification at 7:30pm) and they claims it will be delivered tomorrow.
Just checked my order on the apple website and it finally says it's shipped! Tracking link included!
It's just gotten a little bit more real
Just about to post the same! DHL tracking shows it left Sydney on Wednesday, and arrived yesterday in Auckland, finished clearing today and ready for delivery tomorrow. EEEEEEK!
