Package tracking has gone:

- With Courier for Delivery
- Delivered
- Ready for courier: Your parcel is at your local depot and is waiting for your local courier driver.

Rang NZ Post and they were just as baffled, now with the investigations team.

Probably no chance of getting it today...

So just went into the albany 2D store to check if the pre-orders were in and was told "Thats them in the boxes over there, but we are too busy to unpack them, so we might not get to them today"  I then replied "what is the point of the pre-order if you are not going to give them out on release day"  the persons reply "thats what my managers has said"  then gives me a blank look

I thought the dispatch was from a dispatch centre rather than the stores? Or is that for in-store pickup?

This is for an instore pickup

I already had an MRO on my account so had to do it instore to pay of the current MRO off and then MRO the new phone.  Was first one in the store last saturday when they started the pre-orders so mine "should" be in the box in the store but going by what the staff said only god (or the store manager) knows when they will give out the pre orders

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. It is definitely not what should be happening.

Did Spark tell you that or NZ Post? Because I've been told several different things by Spark but the same thing by NZ Post, they were sent via Overnight service and there isn't Saturday delivery. Spark have told me it was sent yesterday (it wasn't), that they were sent via Pace/Express service (it wasn't) and that I'll still be getting my phone today (almost certainly wont). NZ Post have also told me they are having some problems with their tracking system at the moment & it's showing shorter than expected delivery times (eg, Saturday) which isn't correct, NZ Post said it should be with me on Monday.

This was from Spark & NZ Post confirmed my tracking number did have Saturday delivery (though it's entirely possible that they were both wrong, wouldn't be the first time)

That sounds like a slightly different issue - neither call centre nor store staff will have access to logistics info. But simply not unpacking the pre-order phones that are already in the shop is not acceptable.

My standard iPhone 15 just got delivered in New Plymouth. As I was on an old plan my order got frozen but had a great person at 2 degrees that phoned my daily with updates and made sure things went smoothly.

Now need to complete the15 plus order for my mother, there are apparently some technical issues at 2 degrees with those orders. It was never going arrive today anyway as I had to add her as a $30 shared person on my new plan in order to get the $500 discount.

Well i am glad it's not acceptable but that doesn't answer the question on when we can expect to get them, if mine is in said boxes (which i think it might be as first one there in store when pre-order opened last Saturday).  I don't have an issue waiting if needed but not unpacking deliveries on a release of an iphone and just being disrespectful about it to a customer (and former staff member) got my hackles up.
