I've got a 15 pro, fast charge it to 80% in the morning when I wake up, with decent use during the day, will still have 20% the following morning before charging again.

I can imagine that there will be a lot of disgruntled pre order customers. I heard from Spark that even though I pre-ordered on the 17th, it’s likely we may have to wait 6-8 weeks for the pro-max models. I hadn’t pre ordered a phone for years and years. 6s was the last time.
But I hear it’s the same with other providers. Very interesting how times have changed!

That shouldn't be a surprise. There have been plenty of reports that Pro Max will have supply issues as it was last into production and there have been manufacturing problems. If I was mad enough to buy one I think I'd wait.

Wow. I really got lucky this time. Ordered one from apple of preorder night and got it delivered on 26th September. But was tempted by 2degrees offer (as I was already on 60$ plan) and ordered one through JBHifi who also does 2degrees contract on 24th September. The date on the invoice was 30/11 but got a call from them to pickup the phone on 30th September out of the blue. So, sold my apple one and keeping my contract one. Just FYI, both are Natural Titanium Pro Max 256 gb.

with all these negative headlines around the 15 series - overheating, burn-in, bending etc. I hope people are cancelling there pre-orders.....so I get mine sooner lol

Not really. I could have returned it to apple as it was within 14 days return period. So wasn't looking for a loss at this time :)

Question regarding usb-C (android users fill ya boots): what’s the deal with lint and stuff getting in the port? Lightning ports were super-easy to clean with a tooth pick. Also, after using the phone for 2 weeks, plugging in a usb-c connector doesn’t really have the satisfaction as a lightning connector - seems lighter and more fragile/less-robust.

I spoke with Spark again today. Seems like some stores have had all their pre orders shipped now for the pro and pro max.

For those that have the pro, what was the deciding factor in not going pro max?

And am I right in thinking this is the first time they have had two pro models where one has a different camera setup on one?

I have never bought the biggest before (whatever they may have been called in previous generations). But yeah this time I decided to give it a go, partly because of the camera. And I tell you what - I took some photos at the Pendulum concert on Friday night and the low-light performance is incredible. Well worth it.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

That was one reason I avoided them in the past as well. But when I thought about it, most of the time if I'm sitting down the phone isn't in my pocket anyway. The couple of times I have been sitting down and left it in my pocket, it was noticeable, but not to the point it felt like I was going to snap it in half with my perfectly sculpted thigh muscles.*

*It's possible I may be slightly exaggerating the perfection of my thigh muscles.
