Uh oh, shipping info now says "15 Jun 2011 08:12:00 Sydney Delay Due To Bad Weather. Recovery Action Underway"

Please don't tell me the ash cloud is to blame.

I'm not a great fan of Apple (this is for the wife) and this episode hasn't made it any better

I guess it was scheduled to ship via a Qantas or Jetstar flight...

Yeah, what a bunch of poo, just called and it is due to the ash.

This whole thing is a joke tbh, order on 11th June and expect delivery on 4th July???

As much as it pained me to do so I have reluctantly taken the plunge and ordered one on-line for the missus.

The accessories (not needed on any other device but the iPad...but I digress) will apparently be here in 2 - 3 days, with the iPad delivery out to 05/07/11

Damn that android and no skype video!

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Nothing for mine yet but it was ordered a day later and a different model. Knowing there could be some movement soon I will keep a closer eye out, thanks.

The accessories I ordered at the same time arrived bang on the expected delivery date. The excitement was definitely short lived.

Ordered 32GB model 15/06
Today it changed to "Prepared for Shipment"
(Ash permitting) I am impressed with the accuracy of their delivery estimates.
