Hi Guys,

Moving from Android back to an Iphone when it turns up.

Was a previous iphone user years back and on my account had the Tomtom app. My wife now uses my apple ID with her iphone so she didnt have to pay for the tomtom app.

Is there a way to share the app without having to share accounts? will be 2 differnet computers and 2 different accounts?

If there is no easy way of doing it then I will bite the bullet and pay for it again.

You could also just start your device under the old Apple id, and 'restore' all the best of your old apps, then switch accounts after.

Only restriction here is that iTunes only let's you download PAST purchases from one different account every 90 days.

BUT, you CAN switch accounts as many times as you like in any given day to buy NEW apps, so just leave hers on the old account once you set up your device, then start a new Apple ID for yourself, but buy all apps that you want to share on 'her' account and on 'your' phone, then she can 'restore' them to her phone after (as she'll then always be 'restoring' from the same Apple account.)

A little finicky, but my solution to this issue pre family sharing, and still works on ALL apps :)
