There was an ... incident with our iPhone 6 charger last week while camping - the lightning connector end of the charging cable got dropped into a bowl of water, which the charger dutifully spent the night attempting to charge.
The lightning connector now has some black pins but there's no visible damage to the other end with the 3 pin plug. I don't know whether to replace just the lightning cable or the whole thing - any ideas?
