I have 1 x Dell R210-II server with the following specs for sale @ $500:

- E3-1240v2 CPU @ 3Ghz (4 Cores + Hyper-Threading)
- 16GB DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2 x 8GB with 2 slots free)
- 80GB Intel 335 SSD
- iDRAC6 Enterprise
- Dual 1GB Ethernet
- Rail Kit
- New Bezel and key

* I can add a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD for an additional $280

This machine is ideal for home use due to the low power draw (~25W Idle) and half depth which means it fits into most wall mount cabinets.

The server actually started out as a R210. The motherboard, CPU, and RAM have all been upgraded.

This is a great machine. I'm only selling because I got a great deal on some newer kit.

It has been running Windows Server 2016 with 10 or so VMs, including pfSense as UFB router. Windows Server Licence not included.

I'd prefer pickup from Wellington CBD.

What storage expansion can it take? What were you storing the VMs on?

I was storing the VMs on a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro which I can include for another $280.

The server has room for 4 x Internal 2.5" drives, 2 x 3.5" or 2 x 2.5" + 1 x 3.5". Otherwise, you could install a HBA/RAID controller or 1/10GB NIC for fast access to additional storage.

Cheers
