Bought some parts of Trade Me recently and many didn't come with screws etc. Kicking myself for not checking for this.

I need:-

- 8x motherboard screws (i.e. for screwing it onto the motherboard).

- 8x 3.5" HDD screws

- 4x ATX PSU back screws

I've had a look online and I can only find bulk screws when I only want a few, so I thought I would check here and see if anyone can spare some old screws. Happy to pay shipping + a small amount.

Go to your local friendly computer shop and ask if you can raid their bin(s) of screws.

I did this and paid $7 for as much as I wanted. I shifted to get what I needed, then took a few handfuls for luck.
The collection has served me very well

Where are you based? I keep a small collection of these.

The PB service department in Wellington has a bucket of screws that people can grab from.

Yeah OP, where are you based? I believe I've got a stash of them in a container in the shed. Got packets and packets for free while working at Dick Smith and they wrote off all their components/fuses etc.

Popped into a computer shop on the way home from work today and got some for free which I'm stoked about. I was happy to pay for it but the guy said not to worry. Thanks for the offers here too! :)
