Ok, I got an email that there would be no more maps for my navman (which to be honest I use about once a year), and before anyone says it yes i am aware I can use a phone, but well the navman is fairly idiot proof.

So i am curious can you load 3rd part maps on to it.

Are there 3rd party maps available etc

haven't used one of these since smartphones pretty much made them obsolete.

i never knew of third party maps for navman. garmin on the other hand, has (had?) a healthy community of mappers.

When mine came to an end (3+ years ago mind) a short stint at researching options was a firm 'no'. Google maps is sooo much better anyway with live traffic updates etc.
