Sounds a lot when you put it that way, but in terms of the overall market it isn?t all that much.
To put it in context, Telecom and Vodafone have just under 4.5m connections between them.
At the rate of 4,000 a week, it would take roughly 1,100 weeks, or 21 years, for them to lose all their customers.
(obviosuly that won?t happen in reality, but just to give a sense of scale)

Telecom will take a huge hit in market share if they lose the 639,000 still on the CDMA network being switched off 30 July.
