As an iPhone user, what do I need to do to enable this when it goes live for iDevices?

Once the carrier bundle/iOS update is installed it's super simple.
Flick the on-off switch in the Phone page of the Settings app. Same with most phones actually.

Cool.

I really wasn't expecting it to be that simple.

On my Samsung 8+ was very very simple - re-powered handset and phone attached to Wi-Fi calling in about 5 seconds

Just got Oreo on my Note 8 last night from a carrier update, and can now confirm I have used wifi calling. Pretty nifty.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

Just downloaded the new Oreo 8 update and now have the ‘WiFi calling’ option in the settings. Has anyone tested this on the Note 8? 2 degrees website still says it won’t be available until mid-April for the N8

Hi all

OTA updates for WiFi Calling for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and J7 Pro have been released by Samsung so people who have these phones can update them and then use WiFi Calling.

Cheers

Nope it will not and it's part of the software on the S9 no such thing as a carrier bundle on Android

Flash the 2degrees software using Odin works a treat and easy to do

But previously you (?) said the wait was for Apple to ‘flip a switch’?

Since wifi calling works in other countries, Apples switch is flipped, so it’s really a 2D job to update their ‘carrier bundle’?

IOS 11.3 is here. Simple carrier update and wifi calling is all go.

Curious. Would HD voice still work between 2d to 2d customers if one is on wifi and the other is on the network?
