Anyone else having issues tonight? All day I've had stupidly slow browsing of anything overseas, trying to run a speedtest to Sydney, 700ms and it can't even start the download test, local speeds are fine. Rather annoying!
Very slow speeds for me too international and national , speed tests to new zealand 27mb DL on 200gig, moved to unlimited speed dropped to 20 mb DL and lately down to 9 mb DL. and International would be lucky to get 1mb DL Can't wait till the contract is done so I can get rid of this ISP
Disconnected once last night, once this morning and once more this afternoon. Been having terribly slow speeds the majority of the day, especially tonight.
Downloaded an Ubuntu distro from Canterbury Uni at 8.8MB/s so national seems to be fine but I get less that 100kB/s from overseas.
Logged a call with Orcon support who advised the fiber team would monitor my connection for up to 2 days... so I guess I will wait and see what happens.
Pretty terrible here. Had to restart my modem a couple of times this morning, my boss' said he was having issues with his connection too. Been having issues with Spotify streaming all evening too, as well as YouTube in recent times.
Interestingly enough my IPv6 tunnel traffic doesn't seem to be affected (Hurricane Electric tunnel to California).

Also seeing a bunch of packet loss to international links. Also doesn't explain why I'm getting better speeds to Vodafone than I am to Orcon.

Some pages take a long time to load, load in small parts at a time. The occasional bad gateway. Around midday yesterday I lost connectivity to half the world (from my pov) anandtech, tomshardware, geekzone all refused to load.
Its a bit crappy. Ive noticed issues (Slow page loads sometimes) for the last week.
Oh yeah I also couldn't use youtube last night. The frontpage would load, but no thumbnail previews, and if i clicked on one, nothing happened.
