Detruire:
garvani: Not entirely sure, the offer said if you were a customer before July 1st so i had it installed a week before then :D. Im not sure if they are sticking with that or if everyone on 30/10 gets a magical upgrade.

It will be interesting to see since we were just connected last week after signing up in May.

What offer is this? I have been with s/s for 7-8 years and on Fibre since January. Haven't heard anything about it?

They didn't really announce it all that well it was just in a press release and then mentioned in another thread on geekzone. Basically anyone on the 30/10 plan (prior to 1st July) gets upgraded for free to 100/20. You dont need to do anything it will just happen

Also probably worth making it clear that this is (very likely) to be apart of the new Chorus plan offerings, and therefore won't be a Slingshot exclusive. Furthermore I'd imagine that within X time period all fibre plans will be moved to these new faster plans. This "announcement" Slingshot made will just be them trying to get a headstart on these new plans (I wish more ISPs would do the same!).

I believe that is the context in which the upgrade was mentioned here on Geekzone.

It wasn't explicitly mentioned so I figured it'd be worth mentioning in case any readers were unaware of the new Chorus offerings.

I had a small outage this morning and was hoping it'd be 100mbit when it came back on, but no dice. It got me all excited haha.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Give it a few minutes, my connection was really weird and took 5 mins to settle in. I also wasnt getting great speeds on slingshots internal speedtests which i was using at first, so went to speedtest.net, hit begin test and bam 94/42.. couldn't believe my eyes.

Oh and make sure your on a wired connection! The throughput on the wireless on these tripleplay 150's is less than ideal, i get around 35/35 on wifi.

I had an outage this morning also. Was trying to use the phone. Tested at Speedtest.net but was still 27/11

Read here to reboot the modem & ONT, did so.

I am in Masterton and Speedtest now gives this:

Wellington: Ping 32ms, Down 90.09 & Up 38.87
Christchurch: Ping 40ms, Down 89.99 & Up 40.07
Auckland: Ping 21ms, Down 31.24 & Up 41.55

Sydney: Ping 45ms, Down 34.97 & Up 31.06
Paris: Ping 312ms, Down 21.50 & Up 4.96
Los Angeles: Ping 158ms, Down 26.09 & Up 12.94
New York: Ping 261ms, Down 20.28 & Up 8.20

Same on Wi-Fi & wired.
I have the Tripleplay 150 Wi-Fi turned off & have my Netgear D6300 connected to it as an Access Point.
I use the D6300 for Wi-Fi as it had Dual Band & ac1600 speed.

Thank you Quentin

I am curious to see how much faster an overseas torrent goes.

Hi guys,
I am told we are about halfway through the list. Let me know if you don't see any change in the next day or two.
For those of you migrated - hope you are enjoying it :)
