hamish225: woohoo, called up and ordered my install for the 10th! :P
wonder how long the modem will take to get to christchurch
richms: IMO that is fair enough with the extreme hassle that rentals and multi units bring because of stupid laws about consent etc.
If they can get the easy ones knocked off first it makes the platform more profitable sooner.
AndyKiwi: Question for Slingshot:
If upgrading as an existing ADSL customer, will the ADSL connection be active till the install date?
Kingy: What a joke. Slingshot won't get fibre installed in rental properties. Even with written consent from the owners.
So pissed right now

why dont you just lie and tell them that you're the owner, they wont know. just make sure you get something written from the owner and keep it as proof you do in fact have permission to do what you're doing

Because thats deceitful and fraudulent behaviour.
